Our Place

Founded in 1841, Christ Church initiated planning for our present church building in 1862. It was designed by architect J.F. Miller and built in 1867 according to the Gothic Revival style reminiscent of many parish churches in Great Britain. The locally-quarried blue-gray sandstone exterior walls give the sanctuary a regional flavor. The church’s interior, including the numerous beautiful stained glass windows and the original encaustic tile floor is also a fine example of the Gothic Revival design and Victorian era. Stop by sometime and see the most beautiful classical worship space in central Pennsylvania.
